(adapted from a recipe made by Mrs. Fields herself….)
2 C. Sugar
2 C. Brown Sugar
2 C. margarine
3 eggs
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 C. oatmeal, ground into flour
4 C. flour
3-4 C. chocolate chips
Cream margarine and sugars. Add eggs. Blend in rest of ingredients, adding chips last. Drop by large spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 for 6-8 minutes.

Eric will probably be mad at me if he finds out I posted this recipe, but too bad! We like to bake a couple dozen and then roll the rest into balls and freeze them for a quick fix next time we need fresh-hot-out-of-the-oven cookies! It makes a TON, so you will have leftovers!
